FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need a reservation to visit the farm? All of our tours, events and classes require a reservation and payment in advance so that we can guarantee your group a time slot and the tour/class can begin on time. We do not accept drop-ins as we are a working farm and are taking care of our animals and the ranch during our time outside of scheduled events.
2. What is the difference between a Public Tour and a Private Tour? These tours provide the same immersive interactions. The Public Tour combines up to 30 people from various groups. Private Tours are the same experience for just your group.
3. Do you cancel if it is raining? We will do everything we can to go forward unless we are expecting a wash out. Our expeirence is 100% outside and we do not have covered space for the tour. We will contact you if you we need to rebook you due to weather.
4. What should I wear to the farm? Whatever you are comfortable in, but remember it is a working farm and it can be dusty or muddy. We HIGHLY encourage closed toe shoes and NOTHING you would be upset about getting dirty. Consider the time of year so coats or bug spray and sunglasses. If you are doing a Wooly Walkabout you MUST have closed toe shoes or you will not be allowed to participate.
5. Do you charge for infants and toddlers? Kids 3 and under are free. Do not book a ticket for them.
6. Can I bring my dog? No. We love dogs, but we DO NOT allow dogs or outside animals on the property. Dogs are the largest predator to alpacas in the United States and our alpacas get very nervous when a dog arrives. Thank you for your understanding as our top priorities are the health and welfare of our animals and the peaceful energy of the ranch.
